Jacquard by Google is a platform that integrates touch and gesture interactivity into fabrics using conductive yarns. When Google teamed up with Levi’s to create a tech-infused jacket, they were looking for a design partner to ensure the garment felt seamless, intuitive, and familiar. The resulting Levi’s Commuter Trucker Jacket allows users to perform digital tasks like navigation and music control with simple sleeve gestures, enabling cyclists and commuters to stay connected without distraction, blending style with functionality. As part of the multidisciplinary team of IDEO we tackled gesture language, the Industrial design of the  Bluetooth tag, and a prototype for the Jacquard mobile app.
